Bespectacled

I see you gaze outside with a look of amazement,
It’s the same look I would give you for the pulchritude you are made with.

The light refracting on your glasses makes your eyes look calmly intent,
The screen that is this glass and plastic thing accentuates the being behind it.

You are seen for what you see; your soul is in the lenses behind these spectacles,
And in that soul lies what I believe must be the spectacle that is your very being.
